Lyonel McHenry James

Upon graduating from Van High School, Van TX in 1961 Lyonel worked as a brick and marble mason. On January 1, 1964 he married Paula Hope Dennis. All of his life Lyonel enjoyed the great outdoors. His favorite recreation was fishing and hunting on many of the central Texas lakes.

Survivors are Lyonel’s loving wife Paula James; Daughter: Erin Hope Lemons  and her husband Christopher of Asher, Oklahoma; Sons: Eric Scott James and his wife Racheal of Liberty Hill, Texas; Carey Earl James of Travis Peak, Texas, Jason Travis James and his wife Courtney Fort Benning, Georgia. The grandchildren are: Cynthia Marie James, Austin Travis James, Elizabeth Hope Cantwell, Christian Curtis Lemons and Samantha Rochelle Lemons. And the loving dog Oscar.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 28, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. – 8: p.m. at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, Georgetown, Texas. Graveside services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the Liberty Hill Cemetery, Liberty Hill, TX. Services entrusted to The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, Georgetown, Texas.
