Manuel worked for Texas Crushed Stone for 42 years. He was a caring and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He did whatever it took to provide for his family.
He was an avid hunter and always looked forward to going out to the deer lease every season to enjoy time with his "hunters". He was also a huge Elvis Presley fan and had his entire home office decorated with Elvis memorabilia.
Manuel is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sylvia Zavala Acuña, his son Paul Gabriel Acuña and daughter-in-law Carmen Acuña, and daughter Aileen Yvonne Acuña, his sister Nancy Haight and husband Bill Haight, as well as his 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
