Mary H Moe

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Helen Moe on January 10, 2020.  Mary was surrounded by loving family as she entered the presence of the Lord after a brief but complicated illness.

Mary was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on October 15, 1933.  She is survived by 4 grateful and loving children, Greg Sherman, Robert Moe, Carol Nicks, Lorrie Moe and their spouses, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  She was very proud of 4 generations of family loving and serving God together.

Mary worked in the medical field for over 40 years.  She retired from Georgetown Hospital and was actively involved in Hill Country Bible Church Georgetown since 1996, (CBS) Community Bible Study and was a faithful volunteer at Georgetown Public Library for over 10 years. She had a wide circle of friends that she served and fellow-shipped with.  Mary was known for her strong faith, love of the Word, sharp sense of humor and staunch independence. Her retirement years were some of the most joyful, influential and productive years of her life.   Mary loved the Lord, her family, her church and community. 

Mary’s Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, February 8th at Hill Country Bible Church, 600 Stadium Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78626 at 2:00 p.m. with a brief reception to follow.  In lieu of flowers please send donations in her honor to Hill Country Bible Church or the Georgetown Public Library.
