

He served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1968. Michael was a truck and tour bus driver. He was a member of the Screen Actor’s Guild where he acquired the nickname of “Mr. Hollywood”.
Michael was a loving son, brother, father, and grandfather who loved to make people and his family laugh. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father G.W. Moffett, mother Billie Janet Moffett, twin brothers Floyd and Loyd Moffett and daughter Jennifer Marie Moffett.
Michael is survived by his sisters, Margie Brumett and Vivian Johns; brothers, PeeWee, Phillip, Ricky and Gerald Moffett; daughters, Michelle Avila and husband Jose, Brenda Moffett, Rhonda Hahn and husband Randy, and Amanda Harn and husband Brett; grandchildren, Ashley, Jarad, Kailey, Julia, David, Gavin, Rachel, Bryce, Jack and Brennan; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Michael’s life will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas with Pastor Shayne O’Brien officiating.
