Nancy Carole Wild

Nancy Carole Wild, aged 82, of Hico, Texas, passed away in Georgetown, Texas on January 10, 2025, with her family by her side. Nancy was born on December 20, 1942, in Brighton, Michigan to Calvin and Frieda (Schreer) Boring.

Nancy grew up in Stockbridge, Michigan and graduated from Stockbridge High School in 1961. A few weeks after graduation on June 24, 1961, she married her sweetheart, Larry Wild.

Nancy lived in Michigan for the first half of her life before moving to Texas with her family in 1982. She was an accountant for years, but her true passion was sewing, and she created some amazing quilts and crafts over the years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, would never pass up a shopping outing, loved to travel and liked camping outings.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Larry, their three children, David Wild of Texas, Sandra (Howard) Hendrick of Texas, and Daniel Wild of Florida; four grandchildren, Ashley Hahne, Cristina Cowes, Steven Wild, and Brian Wild all of Texas, five great grandchildren; one brother, Donald Boring and one sister, Betty Clark, both of Michigan.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or a charity of your choice.
