God bless you Oscar. We will all miss you so much. Your brother David and nieces Natalie, and Valerie and I always looked forward to the summer when we would be off from work and would visit you.  Jorge and My sister Melinda along with Allen their son looked forward to hanging out with you as well. I enjoyed bar Barbecuing  for you during those times. I truly enjoyed cutting your yard and creating a Long Horn image on your yard every time we would visit you. I loved how happy you would get seeing that. David will miss going fishing with you. We will miss you hanging out with us in the back yard in Brownsville. You will always be in our hearts and we will always love you. My deepest condolences to the Garza family. Oscar was my dearest friend for over 30 years. He was very much like a big brother to me. He was fun to be around, always cracking jokes and making everyone laugh. I will miss him dearly. May he RIP. God Bless you Oscar.

Oscar was such a sweet, gentle, and very smart  guy. We went to school together in Brownsville, Tx. I will never forget him. God bless  his soul. My condolences to the family.

It was my privilege to work with Oscar at Harte-Hanks for many years. He was an excellent work companion and showed enthusiasm and competence when tackling our assignments.

Oscar was very generous and was always one of the first to contribute when we raised money for colleagues needing assistance.

Oscar was a wonderful person who lived a good life.
Everyone at Harte-Hanks liked Oscar and he will be missed.

I am saddened to hear of  Oscars passing. My condolences Pearl, and to all the families! I have no one memory, but remember the many from High school, but mostly when we would all gather on the street in front of the house! The days of no cell phones! When we all walked  to each other’s houses and picked each other up! Oscar, Pearl, Adolfo, Carlos, Jerry, JT, Rene, and others, would hang out and throw the ball around, or get ready to walk to wherever we were about to challenge  in football! You are remembered! Rest easy Oscar my old friend! 

He was always joyful, carried around that big smile and laugh. Great guy to work with. And it was always good to run into him and spend a few minutes catching up. He will be missed.

Uncle Oscar was a beautiful person. He was kind and he was a good man. I remember him always being a big goof. I loved messing with him and laughing at him and he’d look at me and say “farty.” Or “fartknocker.” He was just fun to be around. Anytime I’d see him, I’d hug him and he would welcome me with a “‘Gelu!” (Short for Angeluuu) I can just hear him say it now so clearly. One of my favorite memories with Uncle Oscar is when my mom, Oscar, and I took the drive down Hwy 1 to Big Sur from Mountain View, CA. We stopped by Carmel beach and went to the aquarium. I still remember all the “oohs” and “ahhs” we shared overlooking those cliffs into the ocean. He loved being around his family and I am grateful for so many good memories with him. Will miss you dearly Uncle. 💙 

My uncle Oscar was one of the best people around. He was such a worrier...that’s one thing I always remember. He worried about so many things but you could always easily change his mind when you told him to think about things in a different way. He came on a cruise with my family and my fiancé’s family and we had such a great time eating all of the great food! Every time we passed the casino we would see him at the craps table or blackjack table. He loved to pull out cards at family gatherings and play games like “screw your neighbor” and Texas Hold ‘Em. I am going to miss his sense of humor and just his presence. I love you Oscar...miss you already.

Oscar was one of the first friends I made when I came to Harte Hanks back in 2012. His cube was right next to mine and I could hear him clearly when he was on a call 😊. I cherish the lunches and the may conversation we had standing on each other’s cube.
Oscar was a gentleman, a professional in his work and full of respect for everyone.... Oscar was my friend....

Oscar and I worked together at Harte Hanks but we both shared the UT bond.  We both went to Texas and would often talk and text about Longhorn sports and we went to a couple of games.  I do not have one particular memory because we had so many chats.  It was always fun texting and talking about how crummy the Horns were playing or how great they were playing during the games.  I will miss Oscar and our little chats.  Hook'em Horns Oscar.  My condolences to his family.

Oscar is survived by his mother Elia Garza, and his siblings, Pearl (Adolfo) Beltran, David (Glenda) Garza, Bea Garza, Jaime (Elvia) Garza, Patricia (Chris) Armitage, and Jessica (David) Garza. Oscar was a loving uncle to Angela Beltran, Jennifer Beltran, Vanessa Beltran, Stephanie Norris, Jaime Garza Jr., Natalie Garza, Valerie Garza, Andie Armitage and Cole Armitage. He will be dearly missed.
