

He is survived by his wife, Doris (Trixie) of Georgetown, Texas; son, Walter Robbins of Gainesville. Texas; daughter, Susan Robbins and grandson, Brandon of Georgetown, Texas. Riley is also survived by Doris’s children and by numerous friends and family.
Riley is predeceased by his parents; his first wife, Martha, and by his second wife, Beverly.
Riley lived and worked for many years in Denton, Texas. He enjoyed many occupations: feed store owner, rancher, gun dealer, car salesman, real estate agent, and Christmas tree salesman. He worked for many years as a stockbroker with Merrill Lynch. Growing up he attended school in Jonah and graduated in 1944, from Georgetown High School. After school, Riley enlisted and served in the Army until the end of the war.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 12, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Jonah Cemetery in Jonah, Texas.
