Rita Guerrero

Rita Guerrero was born August 4, 1976 in Paradise, California. She passed from this life February 21, 2023 in Austin, Texas at the age of 46. Rita had lived in this area since 1978. She was baptized into the Catholic faith on October 17, 1976. She enjoyed playing games, collecting pens and spending time with her family. She and John Michael Fowler were united in marriage on March 6, 2011. Rita was preceded in death by her mother, Billie Jean Guerrero. She is survived by her husband, John Michael Fowler; father, Vicente P. Guerrero; mother, Lucy Guerrero; children, Chris Brietkreutz, Andy Breitkreutz and Elijah Howard; sisters, Melinda Guerrero and Marelu Dougherty; nieces, Sarah Waggoner and Isabella Guerrero and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 4pm to 8pm at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2700 University Ave, Georgetown, Texas. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery in Georgetown, Texas.
