Steve was born on October 5, 1970, to Linda Kay and Robert Douglas Wyatt in Aspen, Colorado. As a toddler he was curious, adventurous, friendly, and loved reading books. Steve attended school in Aspen until 1983, when the family relocated to Denver and Steve began attending East High and a School Without Borders. Though Steve did not complete high school in the traditional sense, he instead began working in Aspen and spending a great deal of time hiking, reading and enjoying the outdoor recreation that his childhood home had to offer.
Steve soon returned to Denver where he worked as a cook, and in 1990 he became a first-time father to Keith Douglas Wyatt. Keith remains in Denver with his daughter, Amora. In 2015, Steve met Aralee, and they wed in 2017, where Steve gained three bonus daughters, Roxanne, Julia and Leah. In 2018, they relocated to San Antonio, Texas for work and to be closer to family. Steve recently received a Bachelor of Science in Human Services in Youth/Family Services and Administration from Purdue University Global, and was six classes from completing his Accredited Master’s program. Steve was an employee of PNC as a Customer Service Representative, and often spoke of his enjoyment from helping others through his work.
Steve was a kind hearted husband, father, son and brother. Steve’s smile, compassion, and adventurous spirit inspired those that knew him. He was devoted and loved his family and friends. And he made the best peach cobbler on this side of the Atlantic.
Steve is survived by his loving wife Aralee; son Keith; daughters Roxy, Julia and Leah; and granddaughter Amora. Steve also leaves behind his mother Linda Kay Ngungu; brothers Robert Douglas Wyatt, Jr. (Kim), Elias Ngungu; sister Katie McLemore (Antonio); Uncle Ronnie Clayton; Aunt Diane Laurie (David); Aunt Deborah Clayton; and Great-Aunt Mabel Binder (Aunt Betty to Steve). He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Douglas Wyatt, Sr.
A Funeral Service is to be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 N. IH 35, Georgetown, Tx beginning at 2 PM.
In Lieu of flowers, Steven’s family asks that a donation in his name be made to the charity of your choice.
