Sylvia Ann Valdez Akpaka

Sylvia Ann Akpaka, age 43 a native of Williamson County passed away September 23, 2012 in Georgetown, Texas. Visitation was held on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM North IH35, Georgetown, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00PM. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, September 28, 2012 at St. Helen Catholic Church. Sylvia was born on June 2, 1969 in Georgetown, Texas to Enrique and Marcelina Ramirez Valdez. She attended Georgetown ISD. Sylvia worked for many years for local bail bondsman in the Georgetown area. Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters and one brother. Sylvia is survived by her children, Lorena Nicolette Valdez and Noaelle Esparanza Stewart- Valdez; siblings, Dora Canales and her husband Ernest of Georgetown, Jesse Valdez and his wife Becky of Michigan, David Valdez and his wife Gina of Round Rock, Albert Valdez and his wife Judy of Austin, Juanita Torres and her husband Ruben of Georgetown, JoAnn Alford and her husband James of Round Rock, Dario Valdez of Pflugerville and Sofie Mitchell and her husband Barry of Georgetown; along with a host of other loving family members and friends.
