Theodore "Ted" Arrick

Theodore “Ted” Arrick, age 78, a resident of Florence, Texas since 1998, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2012. He was born on August 22, 1933 in London, Ohio to parents Walter Henry Arrick and Helen Olive (Little) Arrick. Ted married his wife of 55 years, Kay Morelock on March 13, 1956 in Richmond, Indiana.

Ted was an honest man who valued hard work and using his freedom of speech. He loved children and animals. Ted enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend who will be greatly missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Arrick of Florence, Texas; daughters, Elizabeth Ann Roberson and husband Edward of Taylor, Texas and Sanoma McDonald and husband Jim of Florence, Texas; son, James Arrick and wife Roxanne of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; grandchildren, Gene Arrick, Jackie Paris, Mandy Hendricks, James Arrick, Jr. and Nicolle Johnson; and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive guests for a time of visitation Thursday morning, January 5, 2012 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 P.M. at Central Texas State Veteran Cemetery in Killeen, Texas with Chaplain Dean Hamilton officiating.
