Victoria Agnes Marie Pospisil Domel passed away on January 28, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on May 22, 1946, to Frank Pospisil Sr. and Annie Cmerek Pospisil, Victoria was a lifetime resident of Corn Hill. Vickie, better known to those who loved her as “Grandma”, lived a life defined by simple, beautiful joys of laughter, connection, and a heart that truly never met a stranger. Her spirit was vibrant and welcoming as the community she called home in Taylor.
Vickie enjoyed polka music, kolaches, church bazaars and serving others. Her infectious energy was felt by any and every one around her. She loved to talk. She could talk for hours. She listened and she always made you feel like you were the only person in the room.
Victoria loved her Sirloin Stockade family. She loved going to Sirloin and serving others where she connected with many people.
Her commitment to her work and her community was evident in her involvement with KJZT and VFW Post 8587. She was an active member at SPJST Assisted Living participating in various onsite activities and attending church on Sunday.
Her legacy is one of warmth and openness. She taught us that life is best lived helping others and laughing. While her absence leaves places a bit quieter, the echoes of her laughter will remain with everyone who was fortunate enough to be part of her story.
Rest in peace, Grandma. We hope you’re dancing a polka in heaven today.
Victoria married Clarence Domel on December 21, 1974, in Georgetown, Texas. They lived in Corn Hill and attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Clarence and Vickie welcomed three children. Clayton Domel of Cameron, Cecil Domel of Georgetown, and Cynthia Proctor of Taylor. Vickie enjoyed being around her grandchildren, Breken, Anistin, Aidan, and Colt.
Victoria is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; her parents, Frankie and Annie (Cmerek) Pospisil; her brother, Frank Pospisil Jr. (Mary); and her sister, Margaret Vrazel (Lawrence). Her memory is left to be cherished by her children, Clayton Domel (Krystle), Cecil Domel (Joslyn), and Cynthia Proctor (James); her grandchildren, Aidan, Colt, Breken, and Anisitin; and nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held at Cook Walden Davis Funeral Home, located at 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas, on February 1st, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. A Rosary will follow at the funeral home from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
The funeral service will be held Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 8626 FM1105, Jarrell, Texas, on February 2nd, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery.
