Bill had several interesting careers during his lifetime. It was while he was in the US Air Force that he was trained to work with computers. That training launched his career into computer engineering. During his years with Texas Instruments, Bill traveled to many countries throughout the world and lived for 18 months in Australia. After leaving T.I., he owned a wholesale fishing distributorship. His final career was a real estate investor. He was always extremely proud of his alma mater - The University of Texas. However, Bill will be especially remembered for his love of bass fishing. He was an active member of the Georgetown Bass Club.
Bill is survived by his wife Donna of Georgetown; his sister, Bonnie Horsey of Chambersburg, PA; his children, Bradley Harman of Florida, Scott Harman of Round Rock, Kimberly Boettcher of Copperas Cove, Shelly Winchester of Longview, James Lockhart of Georgetown, and Shawn Marie Murphy of Georgetown; his 10 grandchildren; and his 5 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife Nancy, and his parents Willis N. and Dorothy Harman.
