Billy was a childhood friend that I thought a lot of. I remember playing football at his house. He was really good at football. All around good guy. My prayers and thoughts are with his family at this time.

Worked with BJ for many years here in Jax, great guy, helped the command in many ways from "behind the scenes". We missed him when he retired and still do. He's "dark blue" across the board. RIP BJ...........Henry Arato

As a young boy growing up in our little town Billy was one of those guys I looked up to. A great guy from a great family. Our prayers are with the family. Godspeed Billy !

Billy was a good friend and a hero of mine growing up in Georgiana,  My prayers are with the family.

Bill was a close friend who will be missed.  Bill and I worked together for many years.  He was someone that I trusted and respected.  His ability to maintain positive relationships with people was remarkable.   Janet and I want to express our sympathy to his family.  He has been in our prayers.

I knew Bill (known as BJ) while he worked at SupShipJax.  He was a great guy and a wonderful friend to everybody there.  We will all miss him and are hoping that he is resting peacefully with the Lord now.  God bless him for all eternity.

Dear Family and Friends, we are so sorry for your loss of Billy, (Uncle Billy), may God surround your family and friends with his love and care. Bill was a kind and gentle man who always left me with a smile when I would see him. Bill will be missed by so many. Please accept our sympathy and prayers.

Bill was truly a southern gentleman. He was respectful of everyone and alway courteous.  Everyone here at SERMC will miss him terribly, my deepest sympathy to all of you.  
The good Lord watches and keepeth over him now.

We will truly miss our great friend Bill Johnson, BJ as we all called him here.  He was called BJ because our boss at the time was also Bill, and so the name stuck.  BJ was loved by so many of us and all who knew him had respect for him.  There have been many prayers sent your way that will hopefully comfort all of you.
