It is with heartfelt sadness that we the family announce the passing of Donald “Mucker” MacLeod on January 31,2017 at the Glace Bay Hospital with loving family at his side.
Born in Glace Bay he was the son of the late Arthur and Muriel MacLeod.
In his early years he was employed with DEVCO, then he was known as one of the town’s Gravediggers and being a handyman in his garage. Mucker also enjoyed his time with his close friends.
Surviving are his wife Kimberly Weatherbee, sister-in-law Cyndie Wheatherbee, brother-in-law Todd (Tammy) Wheatherbee and many of his cousins.
Visitation for Mucker will be held on Friday February 3,2017 from 7-9pm at Patten Funeral Home 71Union St Glace Bay. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday February 4, 11am in Patten Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to take place at a later date in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
