Miss Gladys Jean "Jeannie" Hennessey (Stewart)

Jeannie Gladys Hennessey (Stewart)- 47, of Glace Bay passed away on Monday, September 3, 2012 at home with her loving family by her side. Born in Sydney, N.S. on September 16, 1964 she was the daughter of Raymond and Shirley (Smith) Hennessey. Jeannie is survived by her sister Elaine (Howie) Bruffatto of Glace bay; brothers, Wally (Anne) Hennessey of Cameron Lake, N.S.,Keith (Lena) Hennessey of Andoise, N.S., nephews; Raymond, Matthew, James; nieces, Christine, Lorie, Lisa, 16 grandnieces and nephews that she treasured so much; cousin Marilyn Stewart, Tayne, Nathyn and Renee, best friends Denise and Anne and her cat Noel. Jeannie was a very caring person, she loved to party with her family and friends. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay. Visitation will be held Thursday from 11:00 -12:30 pm from the funeral home with a Service of Remembrance to follow at 1:00 pm in St. Mary's Anglican Church, Glace Bay with Rev. Vernon Reid officiating. Interment to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery on Maple Ave, Glace Bay. Special thanks to the palliative care in Sydney, VON and all who helped in anyway.
