Born in Glace Bay, Jeanette was the daughter of the late Ralph and Annie (Neilson) Barter.
She is survived by her sister, Kay (Pat) Burns and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Thomas and her sister, June.
Visitation for Jeanette will be held on Wednesday, October 13,2010 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union Street, Glace Bay with funeral service to follow in Patten Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens, Sydney, N.S.
