It is with the greatest of joy to read the many kind and personal words being spoken about our Ruth. Although some may value most the material things in life, we see in Ruth what truly marks a beautiful person and a successful life. So many have known her, valued her and benefitted from our shared journey together. Thanks to all for your love and compassionate thoughts for our Ruth.

So sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. She was a beautiful lady with a beautiful smile. I will miss our Sunday morning hugs and encouraging words at her church Faith Baptist in Sydney where I met her. Sending caring thoughts and prayers to her family at this sad time.

Absolutely one of the most beautiful souls inside and out. I know this lady went straight to heaven. Love you very much GG❤️

We were shocked and saddened by Ruth’s sudden passing.  She was a lovely neighbour, always ready with a smile and up for a chat and a great story of her latest adventure, including her singing contest “wins”.  Being the animal lover she was, she would “puppy sit” our little Casey after her Ebony passed on.  Our condolences to her family.  She will be greatly missed.

We were so saddened and shocked to hear of Ruth’s passing.  Ruth had a great smile that she gave away to everyone near her.  She reached out to many people whether she knew them or not with her beautiful smile.

My deepest  heartfelt sympathy for my cousin Ruth Gay that left us so suddenly, I was talking to her the day before ,she looked fabulous  and good spirits. The ones left hurt the most. My heart goes to her family  and friends             Always  remembered  by cousin Dianne "Pino"Barr

We were shocked to see Ruth’s obit in the paper today!
Ruth always sat in front of us at church (Faith Baptist). We will miss her beautiful smile, little chit chats, and sometimes a quiet prayer together.  Our sincere condolences to her family.

I remember cousin Ruth visiting our Grandmother on Victoria street. She had red hair.  She was so nice to me   Going to wish I had gotten to know her better

So sorry to hear. I played darts with Ruth for years. She was such a classy lady. Always Kept herself just so. She also loves to sing at karaoke and did it well. She was always quick to compliment and thank me for running the dart league. Rest In Peace beautiful lady.

Ruth and my grandma were always soo close. She was such a great person, full of love and kindness. One of the fondest memories of Ruth was when she had Ebony. I remember her like yesterday and thinking I’ve never seen such a huge poodle in my life. She loved her pets dearly. Ruth will be missed by many. Our sweet neighbour. She welcomed us to the street the moment we moved in and we have loved her ever since. She treated our dogs like her own, even when our big one jumped all over her perfectly matching outfit, she never minded. Ruth was the most independent lady, she would never ask for help, but was always so appreciative when she would see Brandon walking across the grass to give her a hand. Rest Easy Ruth, we miss you already.

Thoughts and Prayers go out to the Family.I have many fond memories jumping on my motorcycle and heading to her cottage in Baysville Ontario where she spent most of her summers.Always had a great time visiting her and Glenn.Ruth was one of a kind always interested in Family.Ma and Ruth were like sisters.She will be missed.
