Aaron Michael Younger went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2019 and joined his father, Doug; daughter, Arianna; uncle, Bret Younger; aunt, Tammy Hetrick; and grandfather, Daryll Peterson; among other loved ones.
Cindy and Doug welcomed Aaron into the world on July 27, 1984. He was always a smiling and happy child who gleefully took things apart and figured out how to put things back together. He loved skate boards, roller blades, go karts and being outside exploring creeks with his friends. Aaron was passionate about sports and loved football, canoeing, skiing, music, paint balling, Chiefs, and time at the lake. He loved to volunteer and was a baseball coach for a Little League team.
Aaron graduated from North Kansas City High School and earned his Associates Degree from Maple Woods Community College. He worked at Gladstone Animal Clinic as a compassionate vet tech for the past 16 years and loved animals deeply. He was known to lay on the floor in kennels to help comfort pets, and was respectful to all.
He leaves behind his loving mom, Cindy; maternal grandmother, Janice Peterson; paternal grandparents, Robert and Marilyn Younger; many aunts and uncles, including two special people: Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Paul Stuber; nieces, nephews, cousins, and treasured friends: Marcus and Craig; and many other dear friends.
