Anita K Taylor

Anita was the beloved wife of Wayne Willard Taylor for 59 years. She was the loving mother of Christine Marie Sperry of Kansas City, and Carl Wayne Taylor (Pamela) of Kansas City. Anita was the proud grandmother of Kali, Jacob, Anthony, Nathan, Olivia and Ezeriah; great-grandmother of Zoey, Layla, Fletcher, and Barrett. She was the sister of Willie, Frank, Sarah, Adela and her twin Louis. Anita will also be missed by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Anita was kind and sweet. She was funny and playful. She was creative and talented. She provided day care for many of her grands and gave each one a strong foundation for the love of learning, and work ethic that carry on to this day. Anita was described by one sibling as everyone’s favorite. There are no truer words. Anita was the glue of the family and encouraged us to keep in touch with each other.

She was called by her church to server as a youth Sunday school teacher, work in the Bishop’s Store House and as well as in the new Shoal Creek LDS Temple.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Visitation at White Chapel Cemetery Revelations Mausoleum, 6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64118 on Wednesday, April 30th at 1:00pm. Committal Service will follow at White Chapel Cemetery, Gladstone, MO. A Reception will immediately follow the Committal Service at the New Mark Clubhouse, 9808 N Campbell Dr., Kansas City, MO 64155.
