Born on November 17, 1942, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Aubrey Vernon Griffin and Edith Marie Latimer, Arthur lived a full and vibrant life dedicated to his family, career, and community.
Art graduated from Paseo High School in 1960. He began his career at Acme Brick Company where he worked through the 1960s until 1971. In 1971, Art started working at Belger Cartage, a position he held with dedication until his passing in 2024.
A passionate bowler, Art participated in many Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) tournaments across Kansas City and the Midwest. It was through this beloved hobby that he met the love of his life, LuAnna. The couple married in November 1962 and shared a wonderful life together until LuAnna's passing.
Art and LuAnna had two children, Glen Griffin and Vickie Griffin, who were his pride and joy. In addition to his children, Art is survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of whom brought immense joy to his life.
Art was preceded in death by his parents, his brother James, and his wife LuAnna. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his family and friends.
