Betty Ann Ford

Betty married Billy Don Ford on July 5, 1952 and had three daughters and one daughter by heart. She was a homemaker and worked at North Kansas City Hospital, retiring in 1994.

One of Betty’s favorite past times was going to the casino with family and friends to play the penny slots. When she was not winning jackpots, she loved camping, fishing, and traveling. Spontaneous car rides with the love of her life always filled her heart to the brim.

Betty was an extremely loving, caring and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Anne Smith of Ash Grove, MO, Mary and David Smith of Holt, MO, Debbie and Kirk Sherwood of Kearney, MO, and Ginger and Johnnie Pulliam of Liberty, MO; two brothers, Darryl and Kay Cooper, and Joe and Gloria Cooper; sister in law, Gladys Cooper; six grandchildren, Jacob, Caleb, Brianna, Lyn, James and Becky; and she was also blessed with eleven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
