Billy Don Ford, 86, of North Kansas City, MO, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018. He married Betty Ann Cooper on July 5, 1952 and had three daughters and one daughter by heart. He was a Navy First Class Seaman and served on the USS Iowa BB-61 during the Korean War.
After an honorable discharge from the Navy, Don worked as a printer pressman for over 40 years before he retired. He loved boating, camping, fishing, playing the penny slots, and especially spending time with his family. Don never knew a stranger. He took pride in his vehicles and you were pretty special if you got to drive one of them.
Don was extremely loving and proud of his whole family. He is survived by his wife Betty Ford of the home. Survived by his daughters Anne Smith of Ash Grove, MO, Mary and David Smith of Holt, MO, Debbie and Kirk Sherwood of Kearney, MO and Ginger and Johnnie Pulliam of Liberty, MO. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jacob, Caleb, Brianna, Lyn, James and Becky. Survived by 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
