She married Virgil Salisbury and had six children: Darl Salisbury of Unionville, Missouri, Diana Salisbury and LuAnn Dudley of Kansas City, Missouri, Ferrill and wife Pam Salisbury of Shawnee, Kansas, and Steven Salisbury of Liberty, Missouri. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Virgil Salisbury; her two daughters, Marilyn Branum and Brenda Vest; daughter-in-law, Margaret Salisbury; and son-in-law, Michael Vest.
Bonnie and her husband Virgil farmed in Putnam County, Missouri. They moved to Kansas City in the late 1960’s. They were married for 44 years. Bonnie worked as an Accountant in the 1960’s and the 1970’s, retiring from Red X. She enjoyed her hobbies of crocheting baby blankets and afghans, as well as knitting and sewing. Bonnie Salisbury was a devout Christian woman who loved serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Bonnie’s faith connected her to family, community, and loved ones throughout her life.
A visitation for Bonnie will be held Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone, Missouri, 64119, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM, burial in the White Chapel Cemetery.
