Charles "Chuck" W. Francis

Charles William Francis, 70, of Plano, Texas died Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Vitas Hospice, Carrollton, Texas. He was born March 6, 1950 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Amos and Mattie (Hergemueller) Francis. Chuck was a graduate of Oak Park High School, class of 1968.

He married Shirley (Koehler) Francis on December 11, 1970 in Kearney, Missouri. They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in December 2020.

Chuck previously worked for Bill Allen Chevrolet (NKC), Dagley Chevrolet (Kearney, MO) and retired from AT&T as a computer programmer.

Chuck enjoyed buying and selling stocks, collecting cast die banks, travelling when he was able and really enjoyed touring houses both physically and on his computer.

In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by four brothers Amos A. Francis Jr. (Sonny), Thomas John Francis, Robert Edward Francis and Michael Eugene Francis. Those surviving , in addition to his wife are two sisters Letha Schooling of Las Vegas, Nevada and Joanne O'Guinn of Marshville, Missouri.
