Charles H. Miller, 67 of Baxter Springs, KS/Kansas City, MO passed away January 18, 2023. Charlie was born on January 29, 1955 to Donald and Vivian Miller in North Kansas City, MO. He was a 1973 graduate of North Kansas City High School and a Navy Veteran.
Charlie was a truck driver by trade but in his spare time, he loved woodworking, painting, art and writing stories. His woodworking skills were exceptional and he was considered a “Master Craftsman” by many. His talent shined when making, creating or fixing things. He loved music and playing songs on his guitar. At an early age he could listen to a record and duplicate the guitar playing just by hearing it. He was a very loving and giving soul.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Vivian, brother George, sister Johnna and 2 grandsons, Austin and Donald. He leaves behind 2 daughters, Dusty (Rob) Wyatt, Stacy Miller and son Levi (Destiny) Miller, step-children Scotty Fairlie and Christina Fairlie. Brother Stephen (Rosalie) Miller, sisters Wilhelmina (Frank) Bowser, Donna Blakeley and Shelley Keener Fernandes. Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and the love of his life, Linda Edwards.
Charlie will be greatly missed but knowing he is with our Dad/Grandpa again gives us great comfort.
A private celebration of life is being held.
