Cindy Kay Thompson-Martin

Cindy was born on November, 4th 1958 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Charlie & Frances Crockett. She graduated from Park University with a degree in Accounting and Finance. Cindy married HR Thompson, the love of her life in 1980. After moving to Kansas City, MO, Cindy began working for Thomas Peterson Cap and Gown Company as a CFO. Her children remember her as a Nice, Loving, Strong, and Independent Mother, who encouraged them to pursue their goals. She was a dedicated individual who loved her family and who was passionate about her family.

Cindy is preceded in death by HR Thompson (Love of her life), Eddie Martin (2nd Husband), Charlie and Frances Crockett (Parents), Sandy Thompson (Daughter), Larry Crockett (Brother), Jerry Crockett (Brother).

Cindy is survived by her son Cliff and daughter-in-law Destanee Thompson of Parkville, MO; sister Dian

Crockett of Parkville, MO; Daughter Tammy Thompson of Riverside, MO; granddaughters Brooke Thompson, Kimberly Crockett, grandsons James Crockett, Kayson, Briggs; brother Roger Crockett; sister Pam Mann; brother Charlie "Sonny" Crockett, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations for final funeral expenses, checks may be payable to Cliff or Destanee Thompson, and sent to White Chapel Funeral Home at 6600 NE Antioch Road Kansas City, MO 64119.
