Donald Lee Jackson

Don proudly served in the United States Army as a sharpshooter and a member of the 101st Airborne Division for 4 years. Don was a millwright and a member of the millwrights local 1529 for 36 years. In his spare time Don enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a member of the Freedom of Road Riders Motorcycle Club for 18 years. Don also enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, photography, and spending time with his friends and family.

Don will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Sharon, as well as his children, Diana Adell (Dwight) and Nancy Krogman (Wayne). Don will also be celebrated by his 4 grandchildren, Corbie, Alyssa, Lindsey and Dalanie, and 1 great grandchild, Brecken.

A celebration of life will be held in Don’s honor at the Birmingham Town Hall (located at 510 Spratley, Birmingham, MO 64161) on Sunday, October 13th from 2-6pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to be made to the Veteran’s Community Project.
