Donna was born on March 14, 1956, in Kansas City, MO to Kenneth & Kathleen Hackett. She graduated from Oak Park High School. Donna married Thomas Richard Swearngin, the love of her life, in 1992. She was a loving, kind and generous soul who loved her husband, her two terriers and her home. She loved her kids, grandkids, great grandkids and she loved dressing up as Mrs. Santa Claus for the community with her husband Tom as Santa Claus.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Swearngin; her son, Jerome D. Campbell & Kristine B. Frias; grandchildren, Kenny, Christian and Briella; her stepson, Jason Swearngin and wife Alexis Swearngin and grandson Owen; her stepdaughter, Michelle Salyer and her husband George Salyer and grandchildren Joshua and Jacob; and three great grandchildren.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday November 13th from 12-2pm at the Temperance Lodge #438 on 119 Bridge St., Smithville MO 64089.
