Eula "Sug" Arney

Mrs. Eula Arney, 92, died unexpectedly but peacefully on January 1, 2026. Eula was born one of 10 children on August 14, 1933 in Billings, Missouri to William “Willie” Wittenborn and Della Rogers. Eula married Melvin Arney on October 22,1950 and had four children. After raising her children, Eula had an impressive and successful 59-year career with Avon. She was a member of the Avon Presidents club among countless awards she won during her career.

Her children remember her as a driven, fun loving, strong and a resilient woman who could conquer anything you put in front of her. Eula will be remembered as having a great sense of humor and was never far from laughter. She loved shopping, bowling, square dancing and was a dedicated member of her church and community.

Eula is preceded in death by seven of her siblings, her husband, Melvin and their son, Michael Timothy.

Eula is survived by her three daughters and son-in-law, Teresa, Melva, her husband Bert, Lisa, her six grandchildren: Travis, Tiffany, Nicholas, Alexandria, Patrick and Katelyn and her great granddaughters, Allison and Colette.

A funeral service will be held at Mission View Baptist Church, located at 3400 NE 80th St, Kansas City, MO, 64119, on January 13, 2026, at 1:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow.
