Eunice Smith

She married Verl Spillman in 1947. After Verl passed away in 1976, Eunice remarried Don Smith in 1978. Eunice worked as a beautician for 60 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and Albert Duckworth of Denver, MO; three sisters, Freda Smith, Frances Stephenson, and Barbara Walker; one brother, Duane Duckworth; her husband, Verl Spillman; and her stepdaughter, Vicki Bledsoe.

Eunice is survived by her husband, Don Smith; her stepdaughter, Paula Smith Rockhill, of South Carolina; her daughter, Linda (Dave) Velasquez; her grandchildren, Josh Velasquez, Megan Taylor, and Jules Connell; and her great-grandchildren, Samantha and Madison.

A visitation will be held on January 19, 2026, at 12:00 pm at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm.
