Eusebio Macias Jr., known as “Jay” to his family and friends, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at the age of 84, with his nephew Doug Macias by his side, along with the Hospice caregivers. For the last two years, he was a resident at Kingswood Senior Living Community in Kansas City, MO in the memory care unit.
Jay was a very caring, gentle and classy person. His compassion for others was evident in how he always tried to help those in need. He loved his family very much and cherished the times when we could all be together.
He loved traveling, boating, and swimming. He had a deep passion for music and always loved playing the piano. His dream was to own a baby-grand piano and eventually that dream came true. His career as a businessman lead him in several different directions throughout his life. He was in banking for many years in the Washington D.C. area and later owned his own printing business, which was very successful. Later in life, he became self-employed as a contractor and property owner in both the Kansas City area and in Florida. He has always been a hardworking, driven individual and it was evident in his accomplishments.
Jay will be missed by all who cared and loved him. Rest in peace dear Jay.
