Frederick Steven Epperson, age 69, of Kansas City, MO passed away December 28, 2015. He was born on July 1, 1946 in Kansas City, MO. He grew up in Kansas City, MO, went to North Kansas City High School and received his BA in Business from San Diego State University. He joined the US Navy and was based in San Diego, CA which he then chose to call home until he returned to Kansas City in 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Lois Epperson. He is survived by his 2 children, Nicole Epperson Burton and Steven Epperson, their mother, Edna Epperson and one granddaughter. Other survivors include 3 sisters and 1 brother: Roby Epperson (LeRoy) Clubine, Tana Epperson (Roger) Briggs , Dianna Epperson (Dean) Dickson and Joe(Michelle) Epperson, and many nieces and nephews. He will be most remembered for his witty sense of humor, ability to motivate(Just do it), advice, helping others and for his love of music and his family. He proudly served in the US Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a political fundraiser and lifelong supporter for the Republican Party. The family will hold a private Celebration of Life.
