Gary Wayne Herrin, 71, of Gladstone, MO passed away February 22, 2018 at his home. Gary was born December 23, 1946 in Kansas City, MO to Wayne and Edna Herrin. Gary graduated high school from Trenton High School in Trenton, MO. In 1965 he joined the US ARMY and did a tour in Germany. Gary worked for Cummins Mid America for 31 years as a Diesel Mechanic and Foreman. He was a member of VFWBC. Gary loved wood working in his garage. He was a member of Victory Free Will Baptist Church. Gary was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Billye Bayless.
Survivors include wife Fran Herrin, brothers Ron (Jean)Herrin and Terry (PJ) Herrin, son Greg Bayless, daughter Heidi (Alex) Byers, grandchildren Joshua Bayless, Alexandria Byers, Ivy Byers, great grandchild Quin Bayless, multiple nieces and nephews.
Memorial service 5:30pm Friday March 2, 2018 Victory Free Will Baptist Church. Inurnment at a later date in Knob Noster, MO. Family suggests memorial gifts to American Heart Association. Services under the direction of White Chapel Funeral Home, Gladstone, MO.
