Georgann Troglin, 69, of Galdstone, MO, received her angel wings and left this Earth to join her Lord and loved ones already in Heaven on August 18, 2016 after suddenly suffering unexpected complication from a known health condition. She was continually surrounded by her loved ones during her final 14 days at North Kansas City Hospital and had her husband and her sister by her side when she took her last breath. She will be greatly missed by those she left behind, but they are all grateful that she is no longer suffering with any health issues and is happy and well again and with the knowledge that we will all be reunited one day when it is each of our times to go. Georgann was born in Vincennes, Indiana on September 27, 1946 to Travis & Betty Cummins. The family moved to Melbourne Florida during her childhood and that is where she grew up with her brother Steve and sister Robin, went to school, and eventually met her future husband David Troglin. The two started dating in High School and 2 weeks after Georgann graduated they got married. June of this year they celebrated their 52nd wedding Anniversary. They spent the first of their married years in Melbourne, FL and after having their first daughter, Ginni, in December 1971, they packed up and moved to Long Island, NY for a while and then to Kansas City, MO, following David’s job with TWA. Shortly after moving into their house in Gladstone, MO they welcomed the arrival of their second daughter, Kimberly, in January 1975. Georgann was a caring and loving woman who was always putting her family and loved ones first. She could be loving, scary, silly, and sarcastic at any given moment and had a quick wit about her. She had a “look” that most that know her know very well, and it has been passed down from generation to generation as those of you who know her daughters and grandkids may have noticed. She loved to travel all over with her family, using the great TWA flight benefits and being able to show her daughters beautiful places all over the world. She enjoyed spending time with all of her family and allowing her daughters to grow up knowing all of their relatives, even though they didn’t all live in the same state was important to her. Later in life, Georgann was blessed with grandchildren who were the loves of her life. She enjoyed being Nana and spending as much time with each of them as she could. Georgann was a devoted wife, a loving and compassionate mother and Nana, a loving sister and a very caring daughter. She was a deep, spiritual, special woman.
