Jack spent 40 dedicated years working at the GM Fairfax plant, a testament to his strong work ethic. His time at the plant fueled a lifelong passion for cars and motorcycles that only grew stronger after retirement. Alongside his beloved wife of 62 years, Jeanne,
Jack turned that passion into a lifetime of travel. Together, they chased the horizon, journeying through 49 states, exploring historical sites, and taking in the country he loved so much.
When he wasn’t on the road, Jack knew how to bring people together. Whether he was playing a tune on his harmonica, square dancing the night away, or listening to classic country music, his energy was infectious. He brought rhythm, laughter, and a true appreciation for life’s simple pleasures to everyone who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Simpson and Dolly Fletcher; nine siblings Charles, John, Mable, Mary, Jacob, Edward, Edna, Dolly and Virginia.
Jack is survived by his sister Susie; his wife, Jeanne; his children, Scott, Shawna, and Shane; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A visitation celebrating Jack’s life will be held on Sunday, June 14 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone, Missouri, 64119.
