James “Jim” Bierig, 69, of Kansas City, MO passed away with his loving wife by his side on February 19, 2017. Jim was born December 24, 1947, to the late Glen and Doris Bierig, in Arkansas City, KS. He was a SGT in the US Air Force and served in the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of LA Tech University and worked as a technician for the majority of his career. Jim is survived by his wife, Collette, of 20 years; step children, Jason Robbins and Blair (Idrish) Tadkesaria; 6 granddaughters; and siblings, Darla (Larry) Cellers and John (Dee Dee) Bierig. Visitation will be held at White Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 1-2pm with the funeral service at 2pm. Military Honors will be at the committal service immediately following services at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
