(Mary) Jane Phipps Sherman, 94 years old died peacefully with loved ones by her side on December 20, 2024. She was born on September 15, 1930 in Carroll, Iowa, to Joseph and Betty Phipps. With her husband Joe and their four boys, Joe (Linda), David, Mark (Rung) and John (Linda) the family moved from Overland Park, Kansas in 1972, to their beloved Weatherby Lake home. Jane embraced the life on the Lake with her many friends, enjoying it with Joe, the boys and their wives, grand children and great grand children. She and Joe actively living life to the fullest in the Weatherby Lake community. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org or American Institute for Cancer Research at AICR.org
A memorial service for Jane will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119.
