Janice Marlene Carter, 78, of Gladstone, MO passed away on September 15, 2014, with her family present. She was born November 16, 1935 to Clarence and Esther Walker in St. Albert, MO. Janice was an active member of Fairview Christian Church. She loved to garden and take care of her yard. She retired from Western Union Telegraph. Janice was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Kenneth. Survivors include her son, Michael (Linda) Carter of Weatherby Lake, MO. Services are set for 10 AM, Friday, September 19, 2014 at Fairview Christian Church with burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Thursday Sept. 18, 2014 at White Chapel Funeral Home.
