Jerry was born on January 16th, 1935, to Helen and Millard Naylor in North Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated from North Kansa City High School in 1953. Jerry joined the Army in 1957 and served his country for two years. After his service he went on to work for Pratt and Lambert and then Cooks Paint. He finished out his career and retired from Reliable Insurance Company in 1997. Jerry and his wife Jerretta spent many wonderful winters in Florida during their retirement.
Jerry leaves behind his wife Jerretta Naylor of 41 years; daughters Ginger Hibbert, Cheri Funk; son Jerry Naylor Jr. (Crystal), stepson Marty Mckillip; and many wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren. We can't forget his beloved dog Scruffy, which he loved more than his children. He was preceded to heaven by his mother, father and brother David Naylor. Jerry will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts.
A Visitation for Jerry will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM at Newcomer's White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone, Missouri 64119.
