Jessica was born in Des Moines, Iowa on October 11, 1976 to John Matthew (Matt) Forster and Renee Renaud. She was named for the Allman Brothers song ‘Jessica.’ She attended Oak Park High School in Kansas City, MO.
Jessica enjoyed living life and never met a stranger. She loved with her whole heart.
Jessica is survived by her children, Brooke Head (María), Drake Hallum (Allie), and Emma Shumway; her grandchild, Brooklynn; parents, Matt Forster and Debby Dean; siblings, Dustin (Jessica Joy), Rachel (Brad), Tristan (Jessica Nicole), Katy (Andrew), Dan (Josie), Sean, Chris, and Amy; grandfathers, Morris Forster and Clyde Williams; and many nieces and nephews and extended family.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Reneé Renaud; her grandmother, Betty Haney Forster; grandmother, Patricia Williams; stepfather Denton Dean; stepmother, Cindy Forster; uncle, Paul Forster; aunt, Jennifer Porter; and uncle, James Andrew Forster.
A celebration of life will be held at White Chapel Funeral Home on Sunday, August 14, from 12 pm-1pm. There will be an open reception from 11am-12pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jessica’s life.
