

Jody was born on July 10, 1957, in Cedar Falls, Iowa to Betty and Donald Hundley, the youngest of the 5 siblings and an identical twin to Judy, (Dennis, Steve, Sandy, Judy and Jody). Growing up in Cedar Falls, IA and graduating from Cedar Falls High School in 1975 and Hawkeye Technical College graduating in 1976.
Jody worked for Rock Island Mill Work in Waterloo, Iowa selling Anderson Doors and Windows for 10 years. She moved to Kansas City, Missouri in 1986, where she worked for Pella Doors and Windows selling Pella doors and windows for more than 14 years, she would then change careers and work for DeBruce Grain Brokerage and The Redwood Group Grain Brokerage in the accounts payable department where she truly loved the job and the people she worked with.
Jody enjoyed traveling and especially loved her trip to Switzerland, England, Italy and riding the Orient Express train from Switzerland to Italy. Jody enjoyed collecting P. Buckley Moss prints, Roseville Pottery and Genealogy. Between her careers changes she took time to research her family history and trace it back to the early to mid-1700’s. Jody had a passion for miniature dachshunds and enjoyed two of them over the years, Beans and Zoey and they were known to travel with her wherever she went.
Jody was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Jean (Mulford) Hundley and Donald Russel Hundley.
Jody is survived by her Significant Other of 41 loving years, Vince Hoffman; her bothers, Dennis Hundley and Steve (Debbie) Hundley; her sisters, Sandy (Jim) McBride and identical twin sister, Judy (Earl) VanSickle; and many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Breast Cancer or Pancreatic Cancer Foundation or your favorite or local animal shelter.
The family would like to thank the North Kansas City Hospital Hospice House for their kind and compassionate care they provided Jody.
