John Joseph Kalmus, 71, Gladstone, Missouri, passed away due to heart complications November 19, 2015. Visitation is Tuesday, November 24th, 6-8 p.m. at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Road. Funeral is Wednesday, November 25th, at Noon, at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, with burial immediately following at White Chapel Cemetery. John is survived by his wife, Karen; daughter, Nicole, and her husband, Ed; step-son, Joe, and his wife, Connie; step-daughter, Tammy, and her husband, Roger; as well as 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his 3 brothers and 4 sisters, his sister-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. One brother precedes him in death.
John graduated from Lillis High School, joined the Marine Corps, retired from TWA after 30 years and worked for Randy Reed Automotive for 14 years. John was known for his love of God, love of family, love of country and his sense of humor.
