John Odon Olmedo

John was born in North Kansas City, Missouri to Juan R. and Dolores Olmedo on December 16, 1939. He was a 1959 graduate of North Kansas City High School and retired from cabinet making after 35 years. He took a lot of pride and craftsmanship in his trade. John was of Catholic faith. In his free time John, enjoyed making furniture, miniature toys, jewelry boxes, trains, buses, planes, and anything else he could imagine.

John was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Rudy.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Kay; his son, Christopher of Albuquerque, NM; 2 sisters, Madelyn and Olivia; 3 brothers, Robert, Leo, and Manuel; 3 grand-daughters, Merissa, Christen, and Rebeckah; 2 great grandsons, Jace and Cash; 1 great granddaughter, Siyah; and his cat, Lola.
