Karen Ann Anderson, 70, of Cameron, Missouri passed away peacefully surrounded by family, friends, and nursing home staff on February 9, 2021. She was born on October 4, 1950 in Sac City, Iowa to her loving parents Alfred and Elma Smith. Karen worked as a nurses aide in her younger days. She loved reading and listening to audio books. Karen was very supportive of family and friends.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law Archie DeJaynes.
Karen is survived by her daughters Michelle (Anthony) and Kristi (Roger); her grandchildren Kourie, Matthew, Jessica, and Emily; her brother Ed (Sherry); her sister Sharon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff and loving friends at Redwoods of Cameron for their loving care and kindness.
