Kenneth Dale (Daley) Walker (7/8/34-2/12/25) left this world peacefully surrounded by family and close friends. Preceded in death by his wife Dixie in 2022, they had been married 68 years at the time of her passing. Daley leaves behind 3 children, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Daley will be remembered for his more than 40-year commitment to teaching mathematics and related sciences at Park University. His passion for his work and for the students he helped were unparalleled. Additionally, he was a baseball coach in summer leagues for many years in the '60s and 70's, and started the baseball program at Park U in the mid-70's. Thousands of young men and women were positively affected by his dedication to teaching and coaching. In the years following his retirement from teaching, Daley committed time to family and taking care of his wife Dixie.
