Larry Barbee, 70, of Kansas City, MO passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016. He was born July 3, 1946 in Newtown, MO to Wayne and Helen Barbee. Larry retired from Farmland Industries and then enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing pool. He was very knowledgeable of computers and helping friends and family keeping their machines working, this was very important to him. Larry and Brent enjoyed spending time at car shows and drag racing. He was a faithful Royals fan, watching every game he could, as well as basketball games and NASCAR.
Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Barbee and his parents. Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Darlene; son, Brent (Christina) Barbee; granddaughter, Julia; daughters, Connie (Dennis) Durbin and Annie (Ricky) Cook; son, Mike (Jessica) Dungan; cousin, June Coffman; 14 grandkids; and 7 great grandkids.
Memorial Services are set for 7 PM, Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at White Chapel Funeral Home, following visitation from 5 to 7. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to an area animal shelter.
