Leroy served in the U.S. Air Force. He was an airplane mechanic for TWA and proudly served with the Pipe Fitters Local 533.
Leroy enjoyed life, being married, having a couple beers, going to the casino and playing black jack, and playing dominos for $2.00 a game at home.
He was preceded in death by his wife Japolyn Jo Smith.
Leroy had 3 children Kevin (wife Diane) Leigh Ann and Danny; he had 2 brothers and 1 sister, Timothy, Joel and Patricia (deceased); along with 12 nieces and nephews: Tim, Bob, Larry, Terry, Mark, Dennis, Diane, David, Robert, Shelly (Jordan) and Patricia (Webb). Leroy’s extended family included long time friends Mark and Sandy Cantrell and their daughter Sydney and Leroy’s Pal-ie Danny Schroeder (wife Susie).
