She attended Northeast High School, and then a bachelor’s degree in criminology from Park University. Lisa worked many years as a Paralegal for numerous law offices in the Kansas City area.
Lisa was a very creative person; her family remembers her enjoyment for cooking especially her meatballs and spritz cookies. She was a special mom who was also there for her family. She was everything you could ask for in a mom.
Lisa was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Harkrider; her parents, Anthony and Loraine Contorno; her in-law, Bill and Mary Ann Harkrider.
Survivors include her children, Nina Harkrider and Nick Harkrider both of Kansas City, Missouri, her sister, Vera (Bill) Contorno-Bolling; and many other family members.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, March 24, 2023, from 12-2 at White Chapel Funeral Home, Gladstone, Missouri. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lisa's life.
