Lisa Renee Stephens, 41, was taken from us unexpectedly on September 11, 2024. Lisa was born at Bowie Hospital in Bowie Texas to Greg and Diane Stephens on September 11, 1983. She graduated from Bowie High School, Class of 2002. Lisa resided in Texas until she moved to Kansas City, Missouri in 2017. Lisa married Amy on April 27, 2019. They did not have any children but they cared for several fur babies together, which were their children. Lisa started working for UPS in 2009 and worked there until she passed. She was very passionate about her job and thrived on doing it well.
Lisa lived her life to the fullest. Everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her adored her. She was very spunky and loved to make others laugh. Her love for her fur babies was out of this world. From playing with them in the yard, to laying on the floor and cuddling with her brat dog, major, they always knew how much she loved them. Lisa loved getting together with her family and friends whether it be sitting around a fire, having game nights, or grilling up some food. She just really enjoyed having that good quality time. She absolutely treasured all of her nieces and nephews whether they were blood related or not. She enjoyed turning loud music on and dancing around. Besides all of her loved ones, Lisa’s greatest passions were her Jordan’s and most of all "DEM COWBOYS."
Lisa is preceded in death by her deeply loved grandparents, cherished family, adored friends and her precious fur babies Dakota and Chico.
Lisa is survived by her spouse, Amy Stephens; her children, her fur babies - Major, Rhia, Osita and Jasmine; her parents, Greg and Diane Stephens; her brother Michael Ward, as well as all the family and friends who loved her dearly.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Amy Stephens directly to White Chapel
